Having taught on GCSE, A Level, Access and Degree courses I am aware that many learners, whether at school or returning to study as adults, feel insecure about their presentation skills, both written and verbal. My aim is to build confidence in these areas, focusing on issues that include note taking, grammar features, drafting, paragraphing and crucially, answering the question asked! In my experience, students who have these skills in place prior to embarking on a new course of study, find it easier to absorb the course content and have a more relaxed attitude to undertaking written assignments.
